About this activity
Dartmoor has some of the finest accessible climbing in the south of England. Granite tors, quarried faces, and coastal limestone offer variety few inland counties can match.
We operate with Mountain Training-qualified instructors at every session. Groups are kept small — typically 1:8 instructor-to-participant for top-rope sessions, 1:4 for lead climbing development.
From a child's first wall climb to adult lead climbing development, we design each session around the group in front of us.

Common questions
FAQs
What is the minimum age?
We accept groups from age 8 upward. All children must have appropriate adult supervision ratios per our safeguarding policy.
Do you provide equipment?
Yes. Harnesses, helmets, shoes, and ropes are all included.
Can we do abseiling without climbing?
Yes. Abseiling-only sessions are popular with youth groups and work well as a standalone activity.
Is this suitable for complete beginners?
Absolutely. The majority of our groups have no prior experience. Instructors introduce technique and safety incrementally.
